After going through some regular reads, I realised it would be a good idea to just list down what I've done in 2009. Apart from recapping on what I've achieved or not achieved, it also makes it easier for future references. Like when people ask, how was your 2009? I can just go to THIS blog post and it's all there! How convenient right? Haha.

January 09
I watched Mayday Live @ Stadium Green!
As far as I know, it's their first big scale outdoor concert in Singapore. Very good experience.
February 09
Attended RT and loved it. At least it got my lazy butt moving! And now I'm getting rounder by the day. SIAN!
We went for yet another concert, this time it's Crowd Lu (盧廣仲) first paid performance at Esplanade Recital Studio.
This guy is amazing. I love his attitude towards life. 正面力量！
February also saw Phil Scolari sacked by the Chelsea board and Guus Hiddink appointed as caretaker manager. What a great job Guus has done! 
He saved Chelsea's season and led us to win the FA Cup.
March 09
Dined at sevenatenine. I don't dine at such high class place (to me) often so it's worth mentioning.
What's a month without concerts right? This time is free one!

This month, I also started to visit Taiwanese talkshow host - 蔡康永's blog and read 《有一天啊，宝宝》and 《LA 流浪记》. He's another person whom I look up to. 他证明了做自己也能闯出一番天地. Humble, witty, philosophical personified. Through him, I also got to know of a new friend. (:

蘇打綠 - 春．日光 这两张专辑我非常喜欢。 先说廣仲， 他唱现场很摇滚，很疯狂，也很即兴。 夸张来说， 廣仲可以说是百听不厌的一个歌手。
至于蘇打綠，我很喜欢他们的风格，也很喜欢他们的音乐。每个乐手都来自不一样的背景，也造就了蘇打綠丰富的表演团队。特别是爱搞怪的青峰和每次被欺负的嘉凯。 哈哈， 想起来就想笑。
Played L4D for the first time and I'm officially hooked. If only my computer at home can support the game....
Secured my current job and served 1 month notice with ex-company. Miss the music! :(

Started honeymoon month at work... Everyday at work I'll just load my emails, and realise 80% are not directed to me. So I'll just scan newspapers, vet stuff, look at the clock and realise it's only 11am. 幸福雷~！
Got involved with SAF Day. This is the ultimate turn off for someone who's been involved with SAF Day during his 2 years of NS life.

The kids are really cute in the show and it's good fun to see how Jon & Kate bring them up. Now that they're split, I wonder what's going to happen to the kids..
King of Pop passed away... I wasn't so sad at first, but after the constant media bombardment which eventually got me, I realised he's a one of a kind performer. Oh well.

第一次emcee的紧张
In my job interview, I was most worried about this aspect of my job which I brought it up to my boss. He reassured me that we'll be provided training and all that and will only throw us up when we're ready. This marks the first emceeing I did, and subsequently I did a few more. The uneasiness definitely went down as I got used talking on stage, but there's always room for improvement. 开心！

Beginning to summarise stuff and compile events into 1 post NOT GOOOOD! This period is obviously way past the honeymoon at work, and whenever I got home, only half the brain is functioning. Which explains the short, if not compiled posts. It is times like this I salute people like Kennysia who dedicates time for blogging. For myself, I rather watch TV and relax from a day's work. And the next thing I know, the light's switched off and I'm in bed.

Fixed up a study schedule for brother for his exams. I remember my ex-boss telling me the importance of setting deadlines and targets. At least you have something concrete to aim at. Which is what I did and hopefully it helped.
在工作上茫然 又矛盾的喜欢工作 开始质疑对工作的热诚。。。尤其在做比较 mundane 的事。

Won free tickets to F1!
This was really unexpected. I won the GRAND PRIZE from SINGPOST - What are the chances right?! And all I did was to get an F1 EZ Link Card Sleeve from SingPost. 爽翻了！
and i graduated from Murdoch University! The graduation was many many many months after I stopped attending classes, and it came at a time when I'm immersed at work, detached from school. So obviously, I wasn't too excited about it. But at least my grandma and mom were happy I "officially" graduated.

revisted the passing of Michael Jackson after watching "THIS IS IT"
The movie is a really good entry point for people new to MJ. At least for myself, there is a new found respect for his performances and ideals.
Attended Hit Awards 2009 Great performances all round! Especially S.H.E. who was spontaneously funny.
