Actually it's just over the weekend, the event organisers for this Bacardi Fiesta held @ Clark Quay invited the media to cover this event. And fortunately, my company has this bi-monthly magazine - Entrepreneur's Digest, which has a few columns reserved for lifestyle articles apart from the pre-dominant business-centred articles. So being one of the writers for this magazine, I volunteered to attend it since it is providing free flow of Mojito / finger snacks for invited media!
How can i pass on this opportunity when Mojito is my favourite drink right!? But this time the ingredients for the Mojito was slightly different. Being a Bacardi event, the usual rum-based drink was substituted with Bacardi, coupled with the usual mint leaves and lime. Can't remember tasting any brown sugar, but most probably they skipped that in this new concoction.
It was quite an experience, being my first time attending this kind of thing as an invited guest, which I'm provided a press kit and a really cool looking lanyard + name tag for identification purposes.
Took a few photos with handphone coz forgot to bring camera. Good thing photos can be requested thru organisers post-event.
We stayed for about an hour at the place before joining a group of friends for KTV @ Chinatown!
It's been a long time since I had so many things going on for a weekend! Quite a good start to my first week at work eh! I've accomplished quite a few things.
