War with words

Today I noticed my first office politics. Not in the office, but in the VIP Lounge of the Singapore Conference Hall. And I think the content is too 劲爆 to be typed out blatantly on the Internet, so in short it's this.

Someone planned something, didn't inform the other parties about the change, and then there's disagreement.

I know it doesn't sound exciting, but trust me, my colleague and I were like stunned when things got so heated up in the discussion.

And it is so unfortunate that the company i'm working for is the co-organiser of this event.

What are the odds of having to kena such an event when you're out of the army?!?!?!?!?! Urgh.

Anyhow, it was an eye-opener to witness something like this today. Like everything else, this has to start somewhere. I'm just hoping it wouldn't happen too often in my lifetime because I'm not someone who enjoys politics!
