Captain Lu's concert at Esplanade Recital Studio

At his debut concert at the Esplande Recital Studio yesterday, Crowd Lu (盧廣仲) shared with the audience his childhood experiences and his time as a student and how these eventually inspired him to write the songs in the album '100種生活'.

The concert started with a single he released back in 2007 followed by his first released single in 2006.

The guitar enthusiast shared with us how a major accident forced him to stay at home because of the inconvenience of going out in crutches. This incident eventually pathed way for guitar fiddling and song writing. And thats how the 'boring' song came about.

Crowd's personality shone through his music and I could really feel his passion for singing. Like when he's engrossed in a song, you can see him doing 'air kicks' when the guitar playing becomes more intense. The 90 min concert was just him and 2 sets of guitar. In between songs, he'll try to give us some bio about the song like when and why it was written. But he always ended up mincing his words, and it became entertainment at its most natural state.

Most noticably was his "YEAH" and "YA" response when he didn't know what to say. Amusing as it may seem, others might see his inability to communicate to be a disadvantage, but this has also successfully become his trademark. Very much alike to Jam Hsiao's "省话一哥" title when he just entered the music industry, Crowd is starting to establish himself in the music industry for his radical responses.

For someone who can come up with a tune even with just the word "boring", you should have at least one of his songs in your music playlist la.
