of many things..

Phew! Another work week has passed.

One thing I really miss about not working is the freedom to just leave the country. Once you start working, it's such a pain in the ().() when you're trying to plan for holidays. The travel period has to fall on long weekends so you don't have to use up too many leave, which also means the transport/accomodation cost during that period is at its peak. Like I have a few places in mind, Siem Reap, Penang, Langkawi, Bangkok.

But on the flip side, I wouldn't have the cash to go on holidays if I'm not working in the first place. Sucks isn't it.

Anyway, onto better stuff. I just found this song by Peggy Hsu (許哲珮) titled 谁. Can't find the music videos, but one of my favourited Youtube channel has this song. It's a very chill-out piece to listen on early mornings / late night. I have to admit i'm quite a sucker for acoustic stuff.

And before I forget, I have to finish my unfinished post. Not going by chronological order, I shall continue with my visit to my colleague's house warming.

The place is very near Bedok Reservoir, and if you're following the properties craze, it's near Waterfront Key. When we got in, there were quite a few family members/friends, and most of them were crowding around the TV. Like most house-warmings (not like I go to alot of them), the wedding video will be playing on TV so guests can entertain themselves watching the groom get sabo-ed, how loving the couple is, etc..

What I really like about the place is, the balcony. From the balcony, you can see part of the park and the house is generally well-ventilated. Hmm.. one day when I get my own house, I would want something similar I guess. Windy, and a place with balcony, with trees around me.

We stayed about 2 hours, before we left for movie at Tampines Mall. My first time there, and it is to watch GI: Joe. The show is as the review I came across; action-packed but has little plot to boast. Nice to see them do unthinkable stunts, explosions, fantastic CGI, but definitely not my kind of weekend movie.

After the movie I had to rush off to Harbourfront for the dinner at Suburbia, which I have already blogged about. (:

OK. Time to have my breakfast. Will continue another day about the other activities. Have a great weekend ahead.

p.s. take care and good luck for exams...(:
