Musical Delights XXXII

The Musical Delights XXXII has been one of the more enjoyable concerts for myself as a performer, and as part of the audience. Because we only had time for 3 songs, the ensemble made sure they gave it their all, especially the trumpets! And before going onto the stage and after going off stage, it was just photo-snapping chaos at backstage.

I joined in the audience for the second half when the main band was playing the Third Symphony by James Barnes. Probably seated too far back, the band sounded much softer than during rehearsal and there was less intensity and impact from their playing. It didn't help when the boys around me were having trouble keeping still throughout the song.

After the concert, we retreated to the prata house along Thomson Rd for some supper before heading home. I wonder when's the next time we'll get the chance to make music together again...
