Compromised...

When I signed up for SMa, the main thing that attracted me to the course was its duration. 16 months.

BUT BUT BUT, now that I'm in my final semester, they're not offering one of the modules that I'm taking in that semester. Which means, I'll have to stay on for an additional 4 months, to complete the remaining module.

No amount of complaints made them change their minds. Of course, SMa cleverly pushed the blame to Murdoch, saying the University has the final say on what modules are being offered.

LPPL liao lor.

So now what? Do I continue my miserable paying part-time job for the next 8 months, or do I switch to a full-time job and do my studies part-time?

Keeping my options open, I have yet to do the re-enrolment for this coming semester and I have also attended an interview this morning with a publishing firm.

The company provides custom publishing for in flight magazines (e.g. KrisFlyer). I'm applying for the sub-editor's position and basically what I do is to proof read for grammatical errors, check for consistency and include headlines for the articles.

Sounds like an easy job with a heavy workload eh. Well, let's just wait and see what happens over the next few weeks.
