Lampsy is staying!

Now that Lampard has finally penned a new 5-year contract with Chelsea, it's official that I shouldn't believe what is written in the papers.

Being able to secure Lampard's signature is like aquiring a new player. It was devastating to read reports when there was so much uncertainty about his future, and how Mourinho has attempted to snap him up.

But I guess conscience finally caught up with Lampard. The club stuck by him (allowed him to rest as long as he need when the season is still going on) during the passing of his mom. Apart from the support from the management, Lampard has also reiterated the support he received from his team-mates on the pitch against Man Utd and many things off the pitch.

Lampard was also impressed by Scolari's appointment, and the players he has brought in, particularly Deco. Both midfielders have linked well during pre-season and are happy with the current situation. (read more...)

With the imminent arrival of Robinho from Real Madrid, the squad looks set to start the season winning. The odds are definitely on our side to bring the title back to the Bridge!

There isn't a better time to support Chelsea.
