Chelsea put four goals past hapless Portsmouth

The convincing win against Portsmouth will send shivers down the spine of every team who has to meet Chelsea this season.

The team is motivated, showed resilience, and most importantly there was passion on the pitch. The team also showed slight resemblence of the title winning side under Mourinho who played with such confidence and hunger.

Anelka was well settled in his new role, as a central striker. He looked sharp and has shown confidence in front of goal which was lacking in him since his arrival from Bolton a year ago..
