Weekly update!

Hey it's 2006! A bit duh.. but it's somehow a fashion trend to do this... like having a new yr resolution, or reflect on how the past yr has been...

New yr resolution - Same as previous years, DRINK MORE WATER and SLEEP EARLY!

Past yr has been..... forgotten. Guess it's good for me to have a blog since i have such a short memory span. Letz just move on... shall we?

working day started on 3rd of Jan (TuesdaY)... We basically greeted everyone else happy new year in the day, and side read some new marches, and thats abt it. Great way to start the year! haha.

4th of Jan

We did DRILL! Oh my gawd. what a way to start the second day. However, band A also did drill. So that somehow comforted me a little. haha, talk about difference in management.
The drill was sucky, as expected after the long break. So we got nagged at for 30mins in total, for our sucky drill / sound / not having march cards... after that we had full band again...
Day ended with playing of "table soccer" and others watching Peter Pan in the lower lounge!

Alot of us stayed in that night coz the following day got to fall in at 7am...=.= Played winning eleven until 1am then... ZzZzzZzZz

5th of Jan

Got parade rehearsal for the COG this sunday, so we woke up early (630am!), went off to Mowbray camp... where the Provost unit and Dog (Canine) Unit are located. Reached there put down stuff.. go for breakfast! Saw alot of German Shephard... with their trainers... and definitely alot of barking ard. There is this exceptionally cute Golden Retriever too! So....cuuute..... O.o

The rehearsal lasted whole morning... went back in the afternoon, then got full band until 230pm... and went off at 3pm! Shiokz!

6th of Jan

idiotically, we got ANOTHER parade today... and gotta fall in 730pm.. (for most of them, except me) COZ I'm THE BO (Barrack orderly)! WTH. So consecutively i fall in 7am...
Today's parade was the 6th Div COC (Change of Command).. We reached there at 8am, first rehearsal ended at 10am.

Went back to our resting pt, slack until 12pm.. go for their fantastic lunch (no sarcasm) at the cookhouse, then back for 2nd rehearsal at 1pm. The whole rehearsal thing ended around 2pm. Had until 350pm... before the ACTUAL parade commences...

kns. go so early. So before the actual parade started, it started to drizzle.. was damn happy coz when it rains woodwind dun have to go for parade! But THEN!! the rain kinda got smaller, so we marched off as planned. Halfway thru the parade it rained like nobody's business. EVERYONE was wet... beret dripping water somemore! March cards abit smudged... then the speaker still took his time for the speech. knnbccb! The parade ended around 6pm, we packed and wait for transport... reached back nee soon camp around 630pm... left camp around 7pm...

p.s. Saw zhenyu in the camp... lol! He's growin' fatter. omg.

Had my dinner at S11's western. yummy. Ahh..... this weekend is so short!!!! Sunday gotta book in at 3pm for COG!!!!!!! =.=
and best is people get off on the following monday in lieu of the cog on sunday, i GOT HQ duty on MONDAY! that means... two things... i gotta work while the rest can rest, other thing is,
I stored an OFF! =D

So it's gonna be a long week ahead... sian... tuesday hari raya, then wednesday got another early parade!! This time must fall in at 615am... freaking hell.... =.=
Good thing is after we get back say around 9am after the parade... we can go off le.. due to the early fall ins and late fall outs lately~
