Ren Ci Charity

Ren Ci's Charity show really convinced me.... it's been quite some time since i called and donated... The difference in this show is they dun give "rewards" to encourage people to call in and donate. Maybe they dun have the budget to do it.. or maybe it's just plain reverse psychology

But it just sounds so impossible for people to call in when the stunts are so cliche and the famous NKF incident which really spoilt the trust s'poreans have in charity programs....(especially when these programs are so frequent)

Ming yi Fa Shi's (the monk) stunt bestest... walk on the two elevated bars... when the wind is so strong plus the slippery bars becoz of the rain...
His speech + tears after the whole stunt made me even more obliged to call...

p.s. On a lighter note, how else to add on to the already so depressing (sympathetic) atmosphere....

p.p.s. A while ago... they said the target was 500,000............ last 30mins changed to 600,000... or maybe i was wrong.... wth... no matter what, plz donate coz it's r-e-a-l.

1400p.m.

Left my place coz got COG this evening... it's raining since i woke up~!
Took a cab instead coz i realised i was running late. reached camp just in time, with my drenched jeans, soaked shoes....

1600p.m.

Loaded up the bus left for istana~

1645p.m.

reached istana, waited in the bus coz it's still raining...

1720p.m.

Informed that COG cancelled due to heavy rain... lol... everyone cheered! coz we just sat in bus.. and got a day off because of it!

Changed and went to Cineleisure meet jH. went tCc for dinner.. tried out the tiramisu..
really have rum taste sia! reached home around 930pm

tomorrow most of them off(becoz of today's COG)... i got HQ duty la... how sian...
must stay in! =.=
