Astroboy speaks English!? So desu ne?

If I knew Astroboy was going to be in English, I wouldn't have watched it.

It's the kind of show that you can't decide if it's good or bad. No complaints on the graphics and action sequences. The script also had plenty of punchline humour. But haven't we seen this before? And only recently?

The movie unfortunately has a uncanny resemblance to movies like I-Robot and Wall-E. And the undisputed similarity to the box office hit, Ironman.

As what a Taiwanese would say, Astroboy looks like the Q版 Ironman.

Like seriously, how can both "superheroes" share such similar traits?!

Apart from the obvious flying and missiles, their "superpowers" come from state-of-the-art machinery. The source of machinery stems from scientific research, and all these stems from the relationship with the military - Fundings.

Wa liew.

It couldn't fare worse on originality. My bad if Astroboy was created first, but still it doesn't make sense to shoot a movie that resembles Ironman. Especially when it's in English. How do you plan to differentiate yourself apart from that pointy hairdo?

Make a guess.

Yes you guessed right. SPEAK JAPANESE!

Astroboy should just speak Japanese and it will all work out.
