Today is one of those days it actually felt like I'm working. Not implying that I'm doing nothing for most of the time, but today was really busy busy busy.
The day actually started fantastic as I'm left in the office all by myself, so I had time to tabao a decent breakfast and munch on the food while I do my work. Then came the afternoon when the sky fell on me. I was tasked to rush to the printer at Queensway for a print job, and boss mentioned that I check thoroughly for any grammatical/spacing/whatever else errors before I proceed with the printing. And I forgot to mention, boss had to collect the materials by 4pm on the same day.
hurrah. there goes my lunch-break.
Horror horror horror (and that's an understatement) when I opened the files to be printed! There were spelling mistakes all over the documents and I spent close to 1 hour to edit. I was so apologetic to the printing lady who was serving me because I had to print and reprint the samples before everything could be finalised. It sucks to be sandwiched. period.
By the time I was done editing, I felt really fed-up with the initial documents that were sent to me because it had so many errors. And due to the deadline, I volunteered to help the poor lady who was doing everything by herself. (Not too convenient to say the details here)
Long story cut short, I finished the day around 5:30pm before the materials were ready to be collected. Major upset of the day? For the second consecutive day at work, I had to take a cab down to Khatib Camp for my IPT. I was also a little bemused by my boss' attitude towards the printing shop assistant.
It really made me wonder if the earth revolves around the sun or her.
