Today, I had too much time on my hands and I spent most of it on the Playstation 3.
It is pretty depressing to be so free on a weekend. The weather didn't make me feel any better because the house feels like a oven, and all i've got is the $29 John Little fan keeping me from catching on flames.
The PS3 wasn't used as often as I would like since it was brought into the house more than a year ago. So it was probably a good opportunity today to just stay home and play it, until I begin full-time work really soon. (assuming that I'll be too tired to play)
It is almost ritual-like to begin the session with Grand Theft Auto. Yes, I have yet to complete the game although in my previous post I lavished on how addictive the game is. It's a weird feeling because once you stop, you just don't find the motivation to play it again. But that's for another time.
I picked up the game and continued where I left off. That lasted me for about.... 4 hours today, before I got really fed-up because I kept failing at this particular challenge. Haha. Kind of explains why it was left unplayed for so long.
Then, my eyes got a little tired from all the playing, so I went online shopping at the Playstation Store! There were a few games that caught my attention previously, and this time I went crazy mad adding games into my shopping cart. Usually I'll just do that and then log off the store and not buy anything. You know, just for the kick of shopping but don't really feel like spending? (or maybe because I haven't got my paycheck)
Today, I checked out my shopping cart with 4 games in it. *blargh* And after playing all of them, I only enjoyed one of it. *double blargh*
The game's titled "Ragdoll Kungfu: Fist of Plastic". It's a kungfu inspired fighting game (duh), but despite all that cliche, the characters and in-game movements are really cool to dabble with. But what's exceptionally interesting was the interactivity of the environment. You can pick up and throw boxes/trophies/characters, swing on platforms, utilise all sorts of weaponery.. it is so my kind of game!

LOOKS DAMN FUN RIGHT!?
And so that lasted me for another 2hrs, before I decided to watch the last few episodes of Project Runway S5 which I have earlier downloaded. I'm not going to spoil the show for whoever's following the series. All I'll say that I've been a big fan of the winner since I started following this season's runway. (:
What a way to spend a Saturday uh. Now I have a splitting headache from all the tv watching so I'm going to catch some sleep, and hopefully not repeat the same things on Sunday! I NEED TO GO OUT!
