I would remember him as....

By now you must know that Michael Jackson, the late King of Pop, has passed away at the age of 50. If you don't, you either don't have a television / radio at home or you live in a cave.

Radio channels and news spots all around the world are overflowing with discussions about his passing. Topics ranging from speculations about his death, what is going to happen to his 3 children, what are the implications for cancelling the 50 concerts he was going to hold at the O2 arena in London... and many many more.

The media is really trying to milk dry this incident until all possible angles are covered.

And why is the general public so involved in his death?

I wouldn't know the answer because Michael Jackson didn't have that big an impact on my life, compared to other artistes. I just hope that those who're mourning / leaving condolences messages truly meant it from the bottom of their heart.

The first song that comes to my mind when you mention the name - Michael Jackson, would be "Beat it!", credited to the abusive impersonations that we see so often on tv. But my favourite songs from him, has to be his ballads.

Heal The World and Childhood.

So what would you remember Michael Jackson for/as? No offence to anyone, but this is truly my honest opinion. I would remember him as the white guy who loved children. And you know who should we credit this to?

You guessed right.

The Media.

Always in the thick of things, shaping the public's perceptions.
