Hurray! It's over! No more waking up at 6am in the mornings!
Really hate the early mornings, the setting up, and the packing up.
Especially today!
At 730am, I was the only one there. At 8am, I was still the only there moving out the instruments from the storage room. -.-||
Bestest.
Over the 3 days, we brought in so much stock that on the last day we couldn't fit everything into the company car. The hotel staff had to move our stuff to a corner while we move it down from the ballroom because another event is going on. So paiseh lah... especially when all the guests are mingling at the area while we move the boxes to the loading bay.
But if you ask me if I would want to do this again? I would probably say yes.
Apart from the downside mentioned earlier, I actually enjoyed the whole process of talking to people. It is much easier in this case because we have a common understanding as the people I talked to are music teachers.
I also enjoyed the snacks and buffet lunches provided by the hotel. The menu varied from Day 1 - 3, and there was never shortage of food! Best thing is the tea. Don't have that 'siap siap' taste that cheap teas normally have.
And above all these benefits, I get commission from the stuff I sold! Extra money for the month of Sept!
But the downside is, because we're so busy all this while, my pay cheque for August is not in yet. Haha... I can't believe I'm laughing about it but yeah, it will be a fat September for me! And there will also be a celebratory dinner after work on Tuesday.
The long-awaited weekend has finally arrived but I won't have the luxury to sleep in, yet. Will be spending Sat morning and noon rehearsing with Weilun's Alumni Band + a handful of players from SP Alumni for an upcoming concert. *Fingers crossed* the rehearsal will be a fruitful one. (:
