leaving for brunei on 21st July

I'm 75% sure that i'm going to the polyclinic tomorrow (FINALLY) to check on my worsening fungus and my flu before i leave for Brunei next next week. See it's a dilemna. If i sleep in an aircon room, my flu cannot recover. But if i dun sleep in an air-con room, the fungus will get hot and stuffy down there and it'll get damp which will end up with me scratching unconciously.

And a part of it is because i'm watching the world cup later tonight. Haha.

Hopefully i'll be ok before leaving for Brunei coz if not, i guess my conditions will get worse over there due to hectic schedule. =.=

So yesterday we celebrated Joelly's birthday (20th) and Edmund's birthday (21st) at Plaza Sing's Swensens. It was abit budget-ty... we bought 2 tarts from carrefour, and a cake from polar. Initially it was supposed to be a surprise that we forgot to buy the cake, but to me it feels like the whole thing was quite budget-ty. haha. But oh well. There's always next year. =)

After the celebration we had a short stint at paradiz playing pool, before our 11:55pm show at The Cathay. We watched the highly recommended "Thank you for smoking!". Initially i was quite tired after the long day (plus i'm down with flu), but then, the intriguing and catchy intellectual arguments / conversations woke me up. It didnt feel like it's 1:30am after the show. If you're wondering what to catch after Superman, THIS IS THE FILM TO WATCH!

Alan and Joelly joined me and jH to watch soccer at my place after the movie. Great strikes from Sweinsteinger to win the game for Germany. Figo came on for the last 15mins to float a perfect ball to Nuno Gomes (also a sub) to head home. Sweet exit for him (figo aka fei-ge).

Tonight is the final! Italy v.s. France. It better be attacking football man.

Latest updates for Brunei trip.

-we'll be setting off with SQ ! Whoo. Singapore girl! (quoted from shawn)
-we'll be lodging in one of the better hotels over there!
-we'll have an extra show on 1st of Aug due to overwhelming response.
-that means we'll be returning on the......3rd or 4th, instead of 2nd. (not confirm)
-we're still changing the nitty gritty in display because a few priviledged individuals are not happy with it.

Basically thats it la. I'll blog again when i have more to say. till then!
