The parade ground today was unforgiving-ly HOT can! Goodness. Hate the weather. And today central band joined us for the parade, so the band multiplied from 30 to 50 odd. Sweet~
In total today we did 3 runs. 1 full run, 1 truncated, and 1 for vetting. For the first full run i did the cue master. So i get to say things like "BAND... CHANGE(heads down)... Point of WAR followed by GOH MARCH...." BAND..... UP! (heads up)
This was my 2nd day doing this... went smoothly... unlike the 1st time, i was too tongue tied..

Back to the rehearsal, even though it's so hot, we still had fun, at least i did, cracking little jokes behind (clarinets are last row) since we have a larger company! e.g. teasing how Zat cant hide himself under the march card

After the 2nd run, we had lunch at the cookhouse. It was quite a long walk from the parade square, but it was sure worth it. The food was also from SFI, but knnbccb. How come they get to eat so nice food when what nee soon camp pple eat such sucky food... biased shit balls.
On the menu was, Potato wedges, 2 buns, scrambled eggs, 2 hot dogs, and a fillet. =.=
After lunch we chilled out at the mess for a bit, before going back for the vetting run. Sky's abit kinder to us this time, it drizzled! But the parade still went on..
But it got heavier... and heavier.... until the woodwinds had no choice but to fall out, and go into shade. YIPEE!
After the last run, the trip back was damn hyper. They wedgied someone on the bus, sang loads of songs, made faces when central band's bus drove past us... etc. Lotz of brainless yet amusing stuff.

After the whole thing, i left camp around 8pm for a movie at j8 with jH. Caught Nanny Mcphee, light hearted movie after a long day's work~
jH brought my birkenstocks sandals along! yay... got new "shoes"....
tmrw there's another ocs rehearsal..... hopefully it'll be good. before the parade we'll be treated to pizza lunch at white house. shiok~
