if u're wondering whats the white thing, it's cheesecake. rofl. Yes i'm er xin! But who cares! hur hur! And that fat kid in orange is my brother. ha-ha
After the heavy lunch, we (me and jh) headed down to Paragon to shop for alan's prezzie. Got him 125 buckeroos worth of crumpler's voucher. Met up with yuanru and off to Downtown East for ALAN's 21st birthday celebration! We're one of the earliest there... so we helped with setting up the chalet, getting the food ready, and all that jazz that goes along with it.
The preparation took a while, before me jh yuanru and joelly went to the arcade to play some games. duh. Mario Kart was fun! You can actually take a photo before the start of the race, and that will be ur avatar!
Back to the chalet, groups of people started to come in, while i'm occupied with the XBOX most of the time. The food was not bad, except that it went cold after being in the container for quite some time.
We left the place around 12am++... exhausted!
Hopefully alan enjoyed his celebration coz there's only once u're 21! =)
Sunday
Woke up kinda late, had to rush abit coz i have to report to camp around 1pm... (for Changing of Guard)
Was optimistic about today's parade coz the sky's cloudy plus it started drizzling when we set off to Istana. BUT THEN!!!!!! The rain stopped and the sun came out. knn!
But if today's COG is postponed, it will be a clear sign that Band A should just change their pieces, since last month their parade was cancelled due to rain... obviously it didn't happen.
So,
Walking up-slope and playing in Istana is good enough to kill most of us, especially the poor bass drum stand-in, Eugene. Rofl.
After the parade, got out of camp around 7pm, met up with a small group of my auntie and uncles + grandparents + family at Thomson Plaza's Peach Kitchen for dinner. It's some cheena restaurant. Don't know whats the occasion but it's good to have a gathering once in a while~
We had,
1. Peking Duck's Skin.
2. Some crab meat soup
3. The Duck meat + Ee Mee
4. Scallops with coconut meat
5. Wasabi Prawns --> Exotic!
6. Fried Fish
7. Sliced Steam Fish
and
8. Chilled Glutinous Rice Soup + ice cream in Coconut
Nice food!! Especially after an exhausting evening. =D
p.s. The last time i weighed myself. Freaking 54kg can. I was 50kg btw.
