genting trip (no photos..yet)

The 4D 3N trip seemed to end a little sooner than expected.... on the 1st day it was crawling...but as the 2nd day arrived, time seems to fly past...

1st day
Reached abt 2pm, walked to Resort Hotel to check in, found out we were behind a queue of 100 over people, which translates into 2hr+ of waiting at lobby.... BUT after 15mins of waiting, me the kiasu singaporean cut-ed queue. Coz 2 of the 5 queues were not in use, but then there were pple checking in via there... so might as well try our luck since we have 2hrs to burn.

Conclusion = we saved 2hrs..

It was ard 3pm when we settled everything in the room, unpacked, changed, then we went to makan. Kenny Rogers for dinner (at a godly 4pm), then window shopped to digest the food, went into Ripley's Believe it Or Not... (have lotza pictures on this...) After which, we went back to the hotel coz there wasn't anything else entertaining outside. It was only 7pm.... how time crawled....

I eventually fell asleep till 11pm, we went off to Starbucks to rot, then tried our luck at entering the casino, which failed instantly. Super sian-ed coz thats the only plan for the night, so as we walked back to the hotel, due to ultimate bored-ness, we watched star wars... again...

2nd Day
Slept as long as i could, woke up at 11am, had breakfast at a noodle stall, then went on a really slow monorail ride... and halfway of the ride, alan called to say they've arrived. We intended to take the cable car with them, end up we met them at the hotel lobby.

When they arrived, we took ALOT of pictures, while waiting for them to check in. After settling down in the room, proceeded to makan, practically the same schedule as what we had on the first day....

night time was spent at pub drinking.. wasting time... and then back at hotel playing cards..

3rd Day
Woke up early to have breakfast at macs, then proceeded to THEME PARK! (this is probably the highlight of the trip) We got on to the ride i hated most, FIRST, how saddening... this ride spins you around and around and around.... i hate that ride. =.=

After the head spinning ride, it started to drizzle, then rain. HAHA. Thats the climax of the day. We had another exihilarating ride, called the space adventure...... it was one of the few rides still running because of the rain. The ride rocked us back and forth, and then practically thats it.
Then we played Go kart... paddle boat (which was really fun, isnt it?)... lunch...Go Kart again... then the roller coaster, then more roller coaster, flume ride (which made our shoes really wet)... mine rides, then more roller coaster again. We really made the day worthwhile coz the park closes at 6pm, we were on the last ride(consecutive rides on the rollercoaster), at 6pm. After which, me + jh + alan + joelly + kinda went on the new ride, which opens till 8pm. Some flying man shapped rollercoaster... very fun. =D Got pictures.

Everyone went back to hotel, all drained... had our dinner at a seafood restaurant.. then bowling till 12am. Went back hotel rest, we were all so tired.... but there was champions league at 245am... so we stayed up for it....

Milan scored 3 - 0 at half time, thought that was it, so me and jh went back to room to slp, while the rest of the enthusiasts stayed up longer. I din slp straight away, so i caught abit of the 2nd half. 3 goals in 6mins.... i was speechless. Fell asleep after a while. Woke up the next day to find out Liverpool won on a penalty shootout.

4th Day
Woke up by zhizi..... felt stoned the whole day coz lacked slp.
Home at 11pm. Super frustrated after the whole day. Except for the smiley assistant on the bus. He was really friendly and patient with the passengers. Reached golden mile complex, absolutely no cab around...even if there were any, they were either not stopping for us, or it's occupied.

I was so irritated by my runny + block nose and the humid weather + 30mins of aimless waiting, i called a cab, which arrived in less than 1 min... SHOULD HAVE DONE SO EARLIER.
Bah. now so tired. will update pictures later....
