chijmes chijmes..

Met up with the 3 of them ard 530pm and shopped ard wisma, then far east for shirts and pants. Thought the match was starting at 7pm, thats why meeting so early... end up match starting 10pm....=.= -So i was thinking, we're gonna be kiasu singaporeans, go at 830pm and camp there till match starts.-

But before that, we had dinner at far east hainanese chicken rice, then lan at far east plaza. war craft was the game. intended to have a 3 v 1 match... coz one of them really pro in that map(DoTA?), but end up 2 v 2. me (the noob) + the pro guy eventually owned them... haha!

Took cab down to destination (chijmes) to meet roy, then find seats. Ka Ni Na... the whole place oredi crowded. Tables were either taken or reserved. We had to settle for seats behind this stupid wall. And the fact that gotta spend at least ($25 x 5 = $125) .... something we didnt know. So smart alec roy suggest go hotel watch the match, coz definitely cheaper than that. We gave the hur? look... then to next better suggestion....

MOVE OUT! and go search for cheaper solutions! e.g. other places with projectors.... paradiz, P.S, other available pubs near here...

830pm - So we went to scout ard the area... found a not so bad deal. No cover charge, $25 for a jug of beer... so we moved place to a pub at chijmes, inside also got projector, so also not bad.

845pm - At first a bit sian, coz the area looks cramped + no atmosphere... but as kick off time gets nearer, crowd begin to fill in... so many heads ard...

9pm - 10pm - Spent the 1 hr playing photo hunt in the pub...

10pm... KICK OFF.

Man Utd shud have won, but the finishing really didnt match the will to win. Plus, arsenal keeper on form, and they were lucky on many occasions. Oh well.... majority in the pub supported man utd. Saw many disappointed faces after everything, including 2 of my frens.

Had supper at toa Payoh lorong 5 with brian and shaun after the match, roy and teck went home to rest. After supper reach home ard 230am... tired....

*Quite an experience, watching soccer in a pub... especially a final match... =)
