故事都有连接的 哦!

I'm back. :)

This 5D trip to Phnom Penh was really fruitful. Explored more parts of the city, and make me love the city even more. The people are especially charming.. even to strangers like us, they are welcoming and they just feel genuine. Innocent and untainted. Such quality is so hard to come by, especially for city people like us.

I have also been offered an opportunity to work in this beautiful city. I'm still weighing the pros and cons of this move, but it sure ain't easy making this decision. Shall keep you guys posted on my eventual decision. If anyone's reading, do give me your 2 cents worth on what u think. :)

Over the weekend, I attended NUS Alumni Band's concert with a bunch of ex SP bandmates. Very nostalgic as we see familiar faces playing music on stage. And I personally enjoyed the repertoire. A mix of familiar pieces and interesting choices.
But what I find endearing about this concert is the alumni factor. The players have their own commitments in life, but yet has made the extra effort to come back and put together this enjoyable evening. Not to mention it's a sizeable band. I'm sure the players enjoyed recollecting beautiful memories when they rehearsed for this.

After the concert, Mr Leonard Tan, who was also one of the conductors for the night, asked one of us why isn't there a SP Alumni. All of us collectively looked at that one person, and from then on, whatever happens we'll have to leave it to him. :)
I would personally love to recollect the happy memories of rehearsing and playing music together.

Just a few moments ago, I got back after watching "Taipei Exchanges", 【第36個故事】. Oh. How it inspires. I'm currently at this crossroad of taking the plunge or not, and also at the same time finding what I enjoy doing. After watching this, I feel more encouraged and brave to chase after what makes me happy.

If you read the news recently, you must have read about this guy who managed through multiple exchanges, got a Porsche convertible. This movie works on a similar concept.
