Mas Selamat captured in M'sia, a month ago

I just heard over CNA's Southeast Asia Tonight that Mas Selamat used an improvised flotation device to escape from the north shore of S’pore to Johor.

Like WOW. Could you imagine his determination to escape?!

According to the authorities, this man has a limp which would considerably impair his ability to even move, much less swim from Singapore to Johor la!

*applauds his improvisation skills*

Mas Selamat is now being held under Msia's Internal Security Act. Don't know when would Mas Selamat be brought back to the place he once escaped from, Whitley Rd Detention Centre, for more questioning.

The authorities would possibly be interested in digging JI information out of him, but people like myself would be really interested in how he did his escape. Hmmm. Don't think he would be granted anymore toilet breaks, unless a group of personnel will be following him to the toilet and watch him pee.

There are plenty of reports on the Internet, and more information are coming in by the minute. Like CNA's Southeast Asia Tonight, invited speakers talk about the importance of Mas Selamat's capture and how it would impact the parties involved.

Over with the AWARE saga, now comes the Mas Selamat saga. Who says life in Singapore is boring?
