Movie Review: Marley & Me

Okay, this is a tough one. I'm not sure if I really liked this movie, but I'm pretty sure it's not boring.

The movie is peppered with the antics of Marley (the labrador) terrorising the lives of Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. Marley is practically a nightmare for a pet. He needs constant attention not because he wants your company or love, but because you need to make sure he doesn't eat up the entire sofa!

The movie progression was quite timely so audience won't grow sick of the repetitive scenes. Once you see too much of Owen Wilson + Jennifer Aniston + Marley, they throw in an extra kid into the picture. And when you eventually got sick of that, they added another kid plus some changes in Owen Wilson's worklife. Then something goes wrong with the husband-wife relationship, which they resolved and had ANOTHER kid.

So in chronological terms, the dog would have aged considerably by now and the story would finally come to an end.

p.s. Bring tissues if you tear easily. This is coming from first-hand experience after my shoulder got soaked.
