Good Local Production, RARE!

The Noose 2 is definitely one of the better local productions so far! In its second season, I'm pleased to see Alaric Tay more involved in the show because he is amazingly good with all the different accents! ("lai lai lai lai lai! frlesh flishh for shale! frlesh flishh for shale!") You really got to see it to believe it. (If prompted to install Silverlight, just click install)

In case you haven't heard of The Noose, it's actually a TV program which features news / issues in Singapore. They cover the news in totally different news angles from what you get through traditional media. It is funny because it is relevant to us, and also because the "made-up" characters are really funny.

Recent TV shows are featuring really good actors that in my opinion, can actually act. Their expressions / emotions are so natural. If you ask them to give you 10 different kinds of sad face, I bet they can do it for you on the spot.

Of course Im referring to people like..

En Lai (The Noose)

Alaric Tay (The Noose)

Sebastian Tan (First Class)

Nicholas Lee (First Class)

Hurrah to local production for once!

Actually, the program's (The Noose) concept is very similar to Taiwan's 全民最大党. The characters in the Taiwanese variety program impersonate political characters / celebrities in relation to recent events happening in Taiwan.

This archived episode is talking abt 超级星光大道 2

Anyway, apart from all that TV watching, I also had time to browse through some blog archives. I was browsing through Edmund's archives and saw this post on a xmas celebration, 4 yrs ago at my place.

The first thing that came to my mind was, this seems so yesterday!

Second thought, I shared the post with jH and she commented, "How times have changed!"

And this brings to mind this saying, Change is the only constant in life. I have nothing to build on that... if you're wondering. So this post will just end abruptly here.

p.s. Remember to catch Noose on 5! Every Tuesday, 10pm.
