My oh my..

Bad news. We just woke up. Having to attend the NBC later this afternoon at 2pm... i think we're screwed. big time.

Last night was really something. I don't really remember a day being spent like this, at least for a very long time. It started off boring you know. As was my previous post, i was rotting at home the whole day until jH came, and we tried to book tickets for Pirates for the Carribean, but the shaw website just wouldn't work. damit. So we gave up, and went to play badminton first.

The game was really hilarious. I missed the shuttlecock quite a few times, and according to her, my stance was fugly. I spent most of the time picking up shuttlecocks, and she'll be on the ground laughing at me. -.-

So after the game we came back, tried our luck again. Lido 1 at 1045pm was fully booked by then. tamade. So we had to settle for Lido 2 around 1130pm.

p.s. only these 2 cinema slots had DIGITAL....

So we booked our tickets, left my place around 1015pm. I was craving for bubble tea then, so we alighted at Somerset. It was closed, to my disappointment. Every other bubble tea shop was. Even the one at cineleisure foodcourt. Well anyway, we made our way to Lido, and saw a long long long long queue. A little puzzled by it...

While queueing, we heard people saying they had problem with the sound in Lido 1. So they're refunding the tickets or maybe try for seats for the Lido 2 slot.

I was thinking to myself, WAH! we damn heng la. *self satisfaction*

We got our tickets, went to subway to buy some food and starbucks for the show.

p.p.s We havent had dinner yet. And while queueing, we bumped into WANG TIAN CAI. He looked he just smoked a pack of ciggies at one go. damn stoned look.

Whee. And we went into the packed hall. Beside me was a very enthusiastic american (i think).
He was cracking jokes like,

Him: Is this the superman movie?
Me: Er... no. this is the pirates movie

Him: Oh good... coz i already caught the superman movie...
Me: *diao*

Him: pirates! I love pirates (in a deep husky voice)
Me: looks at him with alot of question marks...
Him: You know, me and johnny depp attended the pirates school together.
Me: Looks at jH. I'm speechless.

I didnt know how to respond to him man. Although i must say his presence made the movie more enjoyable.

p.p.p.s. Wang tian cai was just seating BEHIND US.

The movie started. It stuttered a little. Then throughout the start of it, the audio stuttered and stuttered. One by one, people started to leave the cinema. The guy beside me face change colour.
So me and jh stayed longer to see what'll happen, when almost half of the crowd is gone.

They actually paused the movie, and resume it, and the audio became ok! BUT THEN, it's not in sync with the video. rofl. I don't know how i can laugh about it at that point of time. But anyway, we went down to the counter to refund for our tickets eventually. Lotz of unhappy people who were cursing bad publicity for SHAW in future. I suppose they're the ones who exchanged tickets earlier for the Lido 1 slot... tough luck man.

It's 1230am, and we're out of Lido. Lan-lan, we walked back to cineleisure to try our luck, hopefully there's a slot for the movie, hopefully digital. (we very hopeful la)

When we reached, THERE IS LEI!!! But the timeslot is at 3am. wa piang eh. We got the tickets nonetheless. With 2 hrs to burn, we headed to the emax where all the xbox and computers were.... just sit down there watch people play game... listen to the free music.

With about an hr left, i was invited to join an angmoh (he dun speak quite good english) for a game of FIFA 06. Wah free lei. Why dun play. lol. So i played with him la. Thing was... i dun really know the controls, but after a few kicks, got pretty used to the controls. Had fun trying out the game. partly because i won all of them... Parted goodbye with a handshake around 2:30am.
Lets just say football is an international language.
