Ging Gang Group

Saturday was spent at the Kallang Stadium watching the SYF Outdoor Competition, then celebrating Weilun's birthday at my place.

SYF Outdoor Competition

Weilun drove, so me and jh went AMK to meet up with him. We drove round Geylang before finally finding the carpark at Kallang. Met up with alan and joelly who were already there. There were lots and lots of people, machiam watching world cup! Lotz of cheering, whistles, tuning up, etc. It was in short, noisy.

Gallery seats were all occupied, so we stood just behind the gallery, which has quite a good view too. Waited for almost 30mins... before the competition finally commence at 5pm. First band, Tanjong Katong Secondary. As usual they stunned the crowd with lightning spins, body and instruments, nicely if not best shaped formations, not forgetting the mace throws by the drum major. Best band for me.

Cant remember the rest of it, coz the 1st band really drowned the others. Got owned! Only Deyi and Bowen could be on par with TK with the spinning, the rest of the schools looked sloppy when compared. We left the place after the announcements of results.

Weilun's bdae

So now the 5 of us squeezed into the car... and went aljunied to find yuanru, who's at cecilia's bdae bash. It was drizzling... and we had a rather tough time finding where the exact location was... she boarded. We left.

After which, the 6 of us went to Weilun's place to get the marinated food for BBQ, and to my place. Edmund joined us. Had the cooked food in my living room... coz it was still drizzling a little when we got back. After finishing, we then proceeded downstairs for the BBQ. The guys did all the cooking (except me), finished up the food, went up to my place cut cake sing song, relax, then left for Partyworld at Orchard. 7 of us squeezed.....

From 12am sing till 3am+... reached home about 4am... sleep till 2pm. TIRED SIA!!!
