SAF Bands Sports Day 2006!

Today is declared the SAF Bands White House Day by Maj Tng, as a group of Director of Music and Band Sgt Majors marched out playing BandStand! Maj Tng was playing the drum major, leading the band. LTA Aik Kee on the bass drum, CPT Yusri on Tuba, CPT Chua on trumpet, CPT Lee on Saxophone, WO Chua on snare, WO GOH and WO Ong on clarinet, and Staff Maswan on Saxophone.

The 8 piece band gave a special performance before we commenced on the buffet lunch after the tiring yet fun Sports Day. Well the performance was them marching jalan jalan at the Carpark, looping BandStand. haha. I swear everyone laughing.... coz it's just so unexpected.

Anyways the buffet lunch was good, had plenty of sparkling juice... =D I guess the objective is met, since the theme for this year's sports day is "Cohesion" (in broken english: collision)... all 3 bands were rojaked into 4 teams, and were represented in 3 games.

Me myself played the Dodgeball.... and MAKANSUTRA! Wa i sweear dodgeball damn fun.. lol... just whack! Makansutra me in the team with a grp of central band pple (teow zhongqing winston nicholas jonathon maj tng) and a freshie + jincheng... so each pair got to finish some food, there are... 2 eggs, a plate of very very hot mee goreng, jelly, potato chips, watermelon... Everyone damn pia... lol... so unglam.... but still came in last la hor... =.=

Oh ya........in the morning there was also the 10 x 1km relay run... Central Band beat band A and B hands down....=.=|||

So we got a half day after today, which explains why im typing this now... coz i just woke up from my afternoon nap. =) Recharged!
