short updates!

Monday

i was doing duty while the rest slacking in bunk... whole day didnt do anything, except for playing NFS on Mario's PSP.

Tuesday

Had full band in the morning, side read some pieces by philip sparke and frank ticheli, the songs were not bad, but not too well played or too much effort put in... afternoon i was sleeping in studio coz i'm warm all over.... suffering from slight fever after the sore throat...
concluded my day sleeping from 6pm - 9pm. and 11pm - next morning...

Wednesday
It was IPPT! which means fall in at 7am... i WANTED to stay in, budden end up stayed home coz wasnt feeling too good. Woke up earlier and took cab to camp, managed to fall in by 7am. We weren't even taking the ippt, but becoz we're the organising band, the whole lot of us gotta go down...=.=
After ippt which is 10am... free and easy until 4pm. Which i fully utilised to have my beauty sleep.
At night went to watch King Kong at Plaza Sing. The movie was good but the atmosphere was weird. I dun wish to be racist online so i shall skip this part. I'm glad i wasnt too affected by what was happening ard in the theatre. Made the movie less enjoyable but still watchable.

Thursday
Morning we had combine full band with Central Band. Pieces played are even more sian. George Bizet... and those ulu pandan composers... one of them was this "Midsummer night dream"... clarinet section gotta tongue semi quavers almost thru out the song...which aint fun for us la... but i think managed to entertain other sections... lol...coz it was a mess.

There were a couple of christmas music picked for side reading also... theres an easy one, and one that's totally unx'mas-like, even tho it's called "Christmas Suite".... =.=
Full Band this time passed faster.... had more fun playing coz u can more or less figure out the song.... since all their side reading so zai.

Afternoon went library continue my video on Frederick Fennell... and a few other miscellaneous videos. then go home le. something happened at the end of the day that pissed most of us... which i shant mention here.

tomorrow morning wun be going camp, instead going NUH for audiometry test.... then go back camp afterwards... for a "Happy Hour"-treat.... hopefully can go home early. Oh ya. And i'm going back for my first SPband prac!
