Here are the pictures!

power of shadows

You know whats the weird thing about night safari(N.S)? It's a tourist attraction, and therefore alot of tourists visit the place. But the thing about taking pictures at night is, you need FLASH if not you'll look like a piece of vertically standing charcoal. By now you should know they don't allow FLASH to be used in N.S, coz animals are reeally sensitive to such things. Surely you don't want the deers or tapirs to charge at the tram, aye?

So the only solution of you taking "viewable/clear" pictures is.... to have a ultra super dooper night vision mode which needs no flash. So the poor fuck like me, only have a sony digicam, with a night vision thats kinda unstable, so that explains my artistic pictures. ok, enjoy the pictures!

This is taken with flash, from a distance... i tio kan indirectly by the zookeeper. Walked away swiftly.. lol...

The long long queue... 99% are foreigners... with uber duper powerful cameras.

So with that... we finally! got on the tram after 30mins.....The tram took us around the park, with a pit stop in between, to allow visitors to alight/board. At the pit stop, we can proceed to....

Yes. The Leopard Trail. I took this with flash, before looking at the... "DON'T DO THIS" list, just on my left...=.=

It was sooo dark you couldn't see shit. I mean literally. Luckily i had stepped on none. I was quite amazed they actually allowed visitors to walk round the park on their own, when it's so "jungly feeling" + "unsafe"....but the both of us felt better coz.. there were small groups of foreigners exploring the place too. So we either follow them or follow the barely visible road signs...

I took this picture on a moving tram...guess the animal.

Figured out yet? It's.... THE FLAMINGOS! *claps claps*... It became so blur because my lousy camera has time lag plus u must let it settle on a still image to capture a proper shot. hiakz...

Moving on with the tram... we arrived at the... GUESS

Doubt you can figure out... lol. Coz all i took was the habitat. Couldn't even see the shadow of the animal. They are actually the very noisy+hyper OTTERS!

After "exploring" the area, we hopped onto the next tram to finish the route, and return to the entrance, TRAM Station 1. Upon reaching the Starting point, we decided to hop onto the tram again, to go one full round, since our tickets were not checked the 1st time. Successfully boarded. We did the same thing again after we finish one round. But this time the person tore the tickets... =(

Just when the last ride was gonna end, the amphitheatre lights were on and we heard some noise going on there. So yea, there was a show going on. Like typical singaporeans, after alighting, we brisk walked to the place...lol (so malu!) No comments on the show. Prolly too tired from all the walking...=.=

The 3 rides gave me different experiences even though the aniamls were no different. On one of the rides, one of the lions was getting it on, with another, moaning like nobody's business in the supposedly undisturbed surrounding.

Actually the N.S is no different to the zoo. Like the otters, i didnt even pay attention to them when i visit the zoo, but on the night safari, seeing otters in action seems a greater deal. Probably a first experience syndrome. i don't see myself returning to N.S in the near future. Don't have to explain myself here.

Ookie. Now here's a couple of irrelevant pictures we took outside of the ZOOoo.

It was really dark, as you can see... no comments abt the picture.. lol

I'm very excited abt the trip. Can't you tell? lol.
