I am notoriously known for joining band for the air-con. For those who still don’t know, during sec 1 orientation, NPCC NCC BAND SCOUTS are available/compulsory to choose one as my cca. So only band was held in an air-conditioned room. Thus easy choice rite.
To my horror, it’s a military band I joined. Shatter my dreams of an air-con-ed life….. however….. I learnt it was fun being in a military band too. Although theres a lot more shouting needed than a concert band.
Which brings me to this point.
Does band makes you speak more or less??
Before I joined and I used to make a lot of noise in class, at home, etc. After band, it’s quite the opposite. I’m guessing because you start to pay attention to body gestures/movements more, and relate that to music. That’s why u tend to speak less and watch/hear more.
